Rendering help (tiberium wars render, or at least tiberian)

i know, i could probably do it myself if i really tried, but... it was so long since i last rendered something myself, and i really want to use that one for a background i got planned, please help me out

the render is a nod banshee seen from that perspective, and that's the pic im gonna base the background on, but i'd want it made a little smaller, so i got something to work with without it looking weird because of the render, for those who don't know, it's from the tiberium wars game, or at least the tiberium series, heh

try resizing it to about 75%'s of the original site, could work, but do a version with the original size aswell if possible

I didn't feather or resize it, figured you'd do a better job, knowing what you're working with.

I usually just work with images with the background still attached, myself. I haven't used a render in at least a year.

thanks, now, i just need some cool brushes to find for gimp, damn, where did i dl that 1000 brush pack for gimp from again?

also gonna make the red a little darker, more fitting for the background i got planned

think this will work as a second render, or logo thingy on the top centre of the background?

re-colored to darkish red, to fit the rest of the background, and the usual colortheme i use on them



ops, noticed that the banshee model is from a mod, apparently, i missed that, but it's cool enough anyways
