I've been working for the past few weeks perfecting the design of my new site. The site is--you guessed it--a graphic design forum. It's kind of a way for me to spread my wings in the graphic design field, as well as to create a genuinely beneficial place for serious artists to communicate and help each other improve.
The site is Fuga GFX. I'm finally ready to unveil it to you all here at BM.
The name "Fuga" means "escape" in Latin (pronounced fyoo-guh) and the same in Spanish. I thought it was fitting because I kind of want it to be an escape or respite from the world, just as art is an escape for me and most other artists. The site is mainly focussed on building a community of serious artists who are interested in learning more. If you're not completely serious about your craft, and you just do graphic art to goof around, there's a place for you too.
I solicited drivel for an incalculable amount of advice seeing as this is my first serious attempt at making a forum, and as such, he more than earned the first moderator spot at Fuga.
The design for the forum is entirely mine, and I spent a long time on it. I would love for your feedback on it as well.
So, join up! I'm looking to make this BM's brother site. Together, we'll hopefully take over the world of graphic design.
And for those wondering, I am not leaving BM because of this.
I've already recruited some members from BM. I am now opening the site to BM with 6 members.
